Early 20th or late 19th century European made. Pigeon looks to have been made in 2 parts joined with a seam that is visible wrapping around the chest to the wings. Round hole in the back of metal statue. The pigeon is attached to the base with a metal hook and a nut under the base. The base and attachment hook appear to have been added more recently; they do not appear to be original to the pigeon. I can't find any marks.

Total height is approx 7 1/2" with base
Pigeon is approx 4 1/2" deep
The wooden base is approx 7/8" tall
