Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec

(1864-1901)

French painter, printmaker, caricaturist and illustrator.

He portrayed the colourful and decadent theatrical and social life of Paris at the end of the 19th Century.

His incarceration in a mental hospital towards the end of his life resulted in a wonderful series of drawings from memory of the Cirque Moliere.
