This is a respin of the original PI1541 HAT running the same real-time, cycle exact, COMMODORE 1541 floppy disk drive emulator that can run on a Raspberry Pi.
Unlike traditional 3D printed cases, this innovative design comprises three meticulously crafted PCBs—the main circuit board, the faceplate, and the backplate. Together, they beautifully emulate a stack of vintage 5.25" floppy disks, adding a touch of nostalgia to your setup.
Can run only on Raspberry Pi 3B, 3B+ or 3A+. Don't try with other versions of Raspberry Pi, will not work.
We don't sell the Raspberry PI with this, you will need to source it by yourself.
For your convenience we sell these circuits fully soldered and tested. But no Raspberry Pi inside.
This design needs an external 5V power supply. The Raspberry Pi power USB jack is hardly accessible inside this case.
