WONDERFULLY DECORATED,LATE 19thC / EARLY 20thC INDIAN OR CHINESE SILVER CANDELABRA WITH FAUX HORN STEMS AND WEIGHTED TO ITS BASE.
(The wooden stand is not included in the sale but can be purchased if required).
It sits beautifully on its circular base and has the most wonderful crisp chasing and decoration of what looks to be leaf and foliage type designs throughout the body and base.
This beautiful piece of silver although marked to its base, it is not really legible apart from "1260",maybe a design number or similar and tests at app 900 grade silver and measures,8 cm in diameter to the base and stands 21 cm tall and has an overall width of 26 cm and weigh's in at 606 grams including some weight to its base for stability and whilst it is smaller than some,it is most definitely perfectly formed.
Overall it must be classed as very good condition with no dents or damage apart from a tiny split to one of the silver collars on the centre holder,but all are perfectly stable/solid.
All in all,a highly collectable piece of silver & very well priced.
