Up for sale is a wonderful antique 19th century Egyptian Revival front door knocker.
It's cast out of very thick iron, is a heavy piece, and has acquired a lovely patina from age.
The knocker is in the form of a Sphinx head and has a long knocker arm.
It is in good antique condition and measures 6 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide and sits 1 1/4 inches from the door.
The mounting rods in the back have a slight bend.
