This is a complete set of STAR TREK: THE ORIGINAL SERIES "PORTFOLIO PRINTS" trading cards (2.5" X 3.5"). This set was produced in 2014 by RITTENHOUSE & consists of 80 different cards in all (#1 - #80). Each card represents a single episode from the series.
This 80-Card Base Set features original movie poster-style artwork by renowned artist Juan Ortiz for all 79 Star Trek: The Original Series episodes (plus extra card for two-parter "The Menagerie"). The "poster" art is beautifully done in a vintage, classic style yet with a new twist on each to make them so interesting to look at. It's as if each Episode is being treated like a full-length Motion Picture!
Some cards feature photos from the series but most are done in an incredible Art style that is sure to intrigue. Each card back as extensive text about each of the original Star Trek Episodes.
