Up for auction is a pair of vintage, men's disco platform shoes.  The rise on / high-top shoes are made of blue suede / brushed leather with red top stitching.  They have blue and white crepe sandwich or marshmallow soles, which are approximately 1 inch tall at the front of the shoe, and two inches tall at the heel.  The eyelets and hooks for the laces are metal, and the shoes have a stiff, reinforced toe.  The shoes were made by the Flagg Brothers, in the 1970s.  There is no indications as to their size.  However, the soles measure approximately 12 inches in length, when measured from tip to heel.  They fit me fine and I take a size 11 shoe.

The Disco Shoes are in great vintage condition, with no stains, discoloration or repairs.  However, the red stitching is worn and loose, primarily at the location where the section of the eyelets meet the top of the toe box.  In addition, the crepe soles have hardened with age, and show cracks at the inner curve of the front sole and heel.  Finally, the paper of the heel lining on the inside of both shoes, while present, is detached.
