I split the shipping with you. This bed is perfect for an infant or toddler's dolls or toys. It is also a beautiful decorative piece or could be used for an infant to sleep on if railings were added. We used it a half dozen times for our infant niece to sleep on. We used the wall as one side and used crib railings for the sides which we reinforced and it was safe as a crib. It has a beautiful brown color and I think to my best observation it is made of ash. I am not sure but it certainly feels like ash, is very light,  but incredibly sturdy. That is why major league baseball players use bats made of ash. It could also be pine, again because of the lightness and sturdiness. The headboard of the bed is designed to be 19.5 inches above the heart, providing a comfortable sleeping experience. The footboard, on the other hand, is 14 inches above the frame and has a 22-inch pole. The foam piece comes with it that fits under a mattress. We no longer have the mattress.

The bed is designed to be compatible with a mattress size of 17 inches by 25 inches, and it does not require any additional parts for assembly. The bed has a solid stain finish and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. This bed is an excellent addition to any child's room and will bring hours of joy to any child who loves to play with dolls or toys.
