Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a toxic, odorless, tasteless, flammable gas producted by the incomplete combustion of carbon or a carbon compound. Dangerous CO levels can be produced by internal combustion engines or from any poorly vented or improperly adjusted fuel-burning appliance. Exposure to CO may cause sickness, headaches or even death.

The CO Detector can help avoid problems, especially when flying with the heater on, by warning of the presence of CO in the cockpit - the sport will turn a grayish-blackish color when CO is in the air. The spot returns to a normal color when air freshens.

Shelf life for unopened package is 3 years. After removing from package, the detector lasts for 12 months.
