Limited edition number 18 of 400, special edition introduced by Roberts Radio Ltd to celebrate their 70th Anniversary in Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee year.

Working perfectly on 9v PP9 battery and UK mains adapter (both supplied).

Complete with original retail packaging, user instructions, numbered (18 of 400) limited edition certificate of authenticity signed by Mr Leslie Burrage (the Chief Executive of Roberts Radio Ltd at that time) and the retailer sticker from Duck, Son and Pinker in Bath, Somerset where I bought the radio new. We've used the radio but not abused it (as you can see in the pics), loved it and rather treasured it.

The Suede special edition colour is 'evergreen', the colour has faded slightly externally from the original greenish grey suede leather to a lovely grey suede. Only points to mention are a couple of very light dings on one section of the original working arial and a mark on the underside of the strap.

In excellent, near collector condition. This is a very scarce, desirable piece.
