Welcome to my auction. My name is Celia Mayfield. I started designing and making my own miniatures in 1986 and spent the next 20 years selling my dolls’ house furniture, dolls and accessories at miniatures shows and through mail order. In 2006 I began making reborn dolls. However, I have, in the last few years, taken up making miniature people again. I also love dolls’ houses in all scales. This listing is for a dressmaker’s mannequin, full length mirror and ballet slipper with box. The mannequin is cast from resin and the base is cast metal alloy. It features a ‘wasp’ waist which would be achieved by means of a corset, giving the wearer a tiny waist and an exaggerated bust. I have added a lace collar and cameo. There is a beautiful full-length mirror and a tiny pair of pink ballet slippers in a box (not removable). All my miniatures are the result of 35 years making and selling dolls' house furniture and dolls at miniatures shows around the UK and through mail order, fuelled by a lifetime's love of dolls and all things miniature. These pieces were made in a smoke free and pet free home. These are collectors' items and are not suitable for children as small parts present a choking hazard. I only charge 1 lot of postage however many pieces you buy. Refunds would be paid after sale.
