Overall:  Beautiful rolled gold antique Conklin Crescent from the early 1920's  Some signs of age, but a great writer.  New sac with talc.
Body:  Lovely luster, with slight surface scratches.  Dent on pen end.  Very slight cap lines.  Ornamentation easily seen.  No personalization.  Crescent has beautiful luster.  Factory imprint on Crescent reads "Conklin" on one side, and "Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. Crescent" on the other side.
Section:  Smooth luster, but has some gouges spanning about 75% of the circumference. (see pictures) Threading looks good.
Nib and feed:  Beautiful nib.  Well aligned.  Smooth with very mild flex.  Nib imprint reads "Conklin Toledo 14 K U.S.A."  Feed is adequate for nib but is not a wet writer.  There is some nib creep when capped, and it has a tendency to hard start.
Cap:  Smooth luster.  Ornamentation nicely visible.  Ring intact.  A linear gouge halfway up cap near air hole.  (see pictures).  Cap will post on pen nicely.
Writing and Filling Condition:  Nice writer, and filling system works well.  Good bounce to the pen making it fun to use.  New sac with talc.
