For sale individually are two US Navy "fouled anchor" flat-rimmed soup bowls made by Buffalo China in the 1940s. The bowls measure almost 9" wide and stand about 2" tall. Both are clearly stamped with the Buffalo China maker's mark that was used during the WWII era. One of the bowls bears the date code "C-10" (Oct. 1942) and the other bears the code "G-8" (Aug. 1946). The price listed is per bowl. If you order both bowls, I'm happy to combine shipping costs and will immediately refund any overpayment.

Both bowls have several rough spots in the glaze, apparently from being stacked, but they're not very noticeable unless tilted to the light. Utensil wear is extremely light. Each bowl has two or three tiny imperfections or discolored spots in the basin of the bowl. Both bowls have significant discoloration on their outermost rims, which would likely come out if scrubbed with Barkeeper’s Friend. The bowls have no chips or cracks, but they are vintage, used items and may show signs of previous ownership. Please see the photos and video attached to this listing, as they are considered a part of the detailed item description. These items will be packed with care and will ship from Central Texas.

I'll be adding many more pieces of Navalware during November and December 2023, so please check out my store for more!
