COWBOY RODEO TROPHY BELT BUCKLE

This old American cowboy trophy buckle is from the mid 20th century…..we would estimate it was made during the 1960’s era. It shows some moderate light tarnish and signs of use, but that would be expected and normal for its age. You could clean and shine this buckle to sparkle like new again if you’d like because it is hallmarked as “COMSTOCK SILVER”, which means that a heavy layer of tarnish resistant mostly nickel based metal was used in the construction of the buckle. It will not show wear or peal, as many plated buckles will. This one has a BIG calf roping scene, blank upper and lower banners that can be engraved if you’d like, hand engraving, and a roped bronze or brass border. It’s an great example of what we all love about old American cowboy buckles…....they are super rugged, super good looking, and remind us of what REAL America is all about!!  The measurements are about 3 3/4” x 3”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide, and weighs 3 ounces.
