One new complete set of Avalon Hill Midway (’64) Leyte Gulf variant counters. The counters have been redone in proper ship plan graphics with colour wherever possible. National flags in appropriate colours have been added to the counters to aid in identification. They have been made as close to scale as the confines of the counter shape would permit.

The aircraft have been completely redone in full colour and in plan shape instead of profile, so that they are in the same alignment as the ships (plan.) Care has been taken to have the aircraft resemble the actual aircraft in use at the time, although they are not to scale with each other or the ships. NO MORE ATTACKING AIRCRAFT LYING ON THEIR SIDE!!

Extra items included are:

• Seven U.S. APs to give the Japanese a definite target;
• Japanese kamikaze counters;
• Generic destroyers for both sides, 2 per counter;
• A generic submarine for each side, one per counter;
• DD and SS counters for the search board.

These are new style counters, printed on heavy cardboard and die-cut. They are a fraction thicker than the original counters, but not so as you would notice (you can always use them together.)

This is not a stand-alone game. The AH Midway game is required to use these counters. The Coral Sea expansion is recommended as well, to get some required ships for the scenario.

Counters only will be included. All else will come as downloadable files.
