This is a large walnut coffee table, Model 1761, designed by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for John Widdicomb in 1953. It is composed of bleached-walnut and walnut veneer. The top is unusual in that the walnut was cut on the bias; “against-the-grain,” so to speak.

The table measures 36 inches long, 72 inches wide and 15 inches high. It has been recently refinished. There are some light scuffs and scratches to legs. There are some previous veneer repairs to the corners of the table. Overall, this coffee table is in very good vintage condition with some light wear apparent. Please see photos.
