This is an Artek Pendant Light, Model A330S, originally designed by Alvar and Aino Aalto in 1937. These examples are new in box, dating to 2020. The listed price includes one pendant, and we have several available for purchase. The lamp’s shade is created from a single piece of steel, coated in black satin paint. The inner shade is painted white, providing a soft attractive light. The silhouette was initially designed by the Aaltos to illuminate the interiors of The Savoy Restaurant in Helsinki, and went on to be shown in the Finnish Pavilion of the Paris World Expo the same year.

Each pendant measures 6.75 inches in diameter, and is 8 inches high. It will arrive with 13 feet of black field-cuttable plastic cable that will require hardwiring. The canopy piece measures 4.75 inches in diameter and is 2.5 inches high. These pieces are new and have never been installed, and are in pristine condition. Please see photos. We acquired these directly from Artek / Vitra and they are guaranteed as authentic.

The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
