This is a George Nelson queen-sized headboard, Model 4909, produced by Herman Miller in the USA. It was originally designed in 1954. The piece is formed of solid and veneered walnut. While it is incredibly simple in form, the design allows for the walnut’s grain pattern to be appreciated.

This headboard measures 2 inches thick, 62.25 inches wide, and 32 inches tall. There are slight scratches on the corners and edges. The metal screws show some patina. Overall, this piece is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
