This is a Pfister Lounge Chair, model 1051C, originally designed by Charles Pfister in 1971. This example dates to the 1980s. The design features a steel frame with plywood inserts, and a fully upholstered seat and back. The original upholstery is done in a thick navy leather.

The chair measures 33 inches deep, 33.5 inches wide, and is 26 inches high. It has a seat height of 16 inches. The leather seat shows creasing, and the left side of the piece shows some wear to its edges. There are several scuffs and there is some slight discoloration to the leather. Despite the various signs of age, the leather has been amply broken-in and is very comfortable. Please see photos.

We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
