This is a single (two chairs are available, though the price listed is for each chair) Eames Aluminum Group armless side chair, designed by Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1958. This particular chair was manufactured circa mid 1980s and is in very good to excellent vintage condition with some light wear from use. The design features a lightweight aluminum frame that sits atop a 4 star base. The upholstered seat retains its original Herman Miller black fabric.

The price listed includes one chair. Each chair has a height of 33.75 inches, width of 23 inches and depth of 23 inches. The seat height is 18.25 inches.

As we have original glides available also, these can be offered either with glides or with the casters shown. The chairs also have cast "antler" bases, as opposed to the adjustable bases, so these do not tilt or adjust up and down.

The buyer may pick up the furniture, have it shipped by our shipping partners (buyer will pay for full shipping cost, though will not have to arrange it), or discuss potential delivery within reason following the end of the auction. The listed shipping cost is an estimate, though we can likely stay below that number for most areas of the country. If you win the item, we can discuss shipping options, prices, etc. and we will make sure that it is as inexpensive for you as possible. We work with a shipper locally who takes great care in their work and has been complemented often on their packing and shipping quality.
