You're buying the W. BUTCHER plane blade and chip breaker shown in the photos.

This set includes some very nice, and somewhat uncommon stampings on the blade and chip breaker.

The blade includes the additional stamping: SHEFFIELD ENGLAND.

The chip breaker is stamped: SHEAF WORKS.

This set may or may not be a matched pair!

The blade is double taper, and approximately two 2-3/16" at The cutting edge, and approximately 6-5/8" long.

A previous owner had quite noticeably tapered in the corners of The cutting edge, possibly to prevent scoring of the workpiece by the corners of the blade.
