EAST OF EDEN - JOHN STEINBECK -1952 FIRST TRADE EDITION with "BITE" error - No Jacket
Light Green cloth cover shows some shelf wear and very slight discoloration on the front cover. Spine cover has a few edge creases top and bottom and a very small 1/16th inch tear at the top. The book is square, spine is tight. No handwriting or other marks in the interior. No dust jacket. A good solid book.
First edition, with "bite" in place of "bight" on page 281 and with "First Published by the Viking Press in September 1952" with no additional printing notations. H. Wolff is listed as the printer on the copyright page.
