NO LONGER AVAILABLE DUE TO ACCIDENT
hi, i have bought a much bigger lathe now so my faithful boley is for sale. if i had room i'd keep both as it's done almost everything i've ever needed it to.
it is a boley make, which i was told is german and made just before or after ww2. it has a single phase 240 volt motor fitted and a normal household 3 pin plug. despite the age or because of this it is a very good quality machine with no known issues. i assume there would have been a guard over the end gears but it was missing when i bought it, it's never worried me as for what i do they are not engaged. it's ideal for your home garage/workshop (like mine) and can earn you some extra money if that's what you want. it has a 31" bed and overall dimensions are 50" long, 20" wide and 50" high. the drive belt was frayed when i bought it so i replaced it with a new one, the old one is here for an emergency spare if you want it. there are 3 and 4 jaw chucks with spare 'teeth' and a large drawer of spare end gears.
the machine itself will unbolt from the tray and legs for easier transport.
obviously collection only due to the weight.
any questions just ask.

edit..... centre of chuck to bed is 4 3/4", to cross slide is 2 3/4" and centre of chuck across to sliding centre bit holder thingy on the right is 18". hope that helps.

edit..... i found out today this has power feed. i've had it over 5 years and never noticed the lever and knob under the bed, doh! that's what all the different gears are for then, lol.

edit.... a couple of motor pics added.

now with a set of new castors fitted to help with loading and transport, lol.
