Here is one of the RAREST and MOST DIFFICULT to FIND, Star Trek cards sets, that is missing from 99%+ of Star Trek Card Collections.

The 1979 Topps Trebor Set from Ireland. This card set was made slightly after the US set so there are many refinements to the US set. Below are the major key points from this set, please don't hesitate to ask any questions.

1. This set was issued exclusively (and very limited) in Ireland and select parts of the U.K. The (included) wrapper reads
MANUFACTURED IN REP OF IRELAND BY TOPPS
           IRELAND LTD. COP.  DISTRIBUTED IN
U.K. AND IRELAND BY TREBOR LTD. MAIDSTONE
2. The Ireland set did not include stickers (as the wrapper reads Collect all 88 cards vs the US that says 10 CARDS 1 STICKER)
3. The cards are much brighter with more vivid colors on the backs. (see side by side photo of cards 1-9)
4. There are 8 major changes to the cards, including several that were not in the US set, Most notable is Card #11 SPOCK
      a. Card 1 (Title card in the US Set) was replaced with the image from card 78 in the US Set
      b. Card 4 the image for card "Fate of the Klingons was changed to an image of Klingons)
      c. Card 11 SPOCK - Many people do not realize that cards 14-19 were the main movie cast, but a uniformed Spock card was completely absent from the set.
      d. Card 46 has the same image - but was changed to a RED explosion, instead of the odd BLUE explosion in the US Set.
      e. Card 52 was changed from Terror in the Transport room to Vulcan space ship to pair with the other Vulcan ship card #53
       f. Card 55 was changed from Zero Gravity to A Pensive McCoy (featuring another card not in the US Set)
      g. Card 76 was changed from Landscape of Vulcan to Speeding at Warp Seven
      h. Card 78 was replaced with a Klingon Warship (Since this image was moved to Card 1)

This set is a true centerpiece to any Star Trek card collection.

I would grade most cards NM, there are 1 or 2, I might grade EX/NM and a few are really sharp.

Will also include a US Set (88 Cards/22 Stickers and a US Wrapper). Making this a true Master Set for 1979 Topps.

(I will try to replace the images with the glare)

Startrekcards has the following info:

"This set highlights Star Trek: The Motion Picture movie. It contains 88 cards and unlike the United States version it didn’t include any stickers. The cardstock for this set is thinner, whiter and cut with rougher edges than the US version. Also the front images are slightly sharper and the backs have more vivid colors than the US version. Cards; 1, 4, 11, 52, 55, 76 and 78 have different images on the front of the cards than the US version. Also noteworthy is that card #46 has a yellow tint to the explosion for this set compared to the US version which has a blue tint. The front of the wax wrappers for the packs state, “Movie Photo Cards Bubble Gum” vs the front of the US wrappers which state, “10 Movie Photo Cards, 1 Sticker, 1 Stick of Bubble Gum”. It’s said that Trebor (Robert backwards) was named after one of its founders."

"his set is very similar to the US version, but eight cards were changed from that set as indicated in the listing. Other general differences from the US set are; there were 42 packs per box whereas the US edition had 36, no stickers were included, they were made of a lighter and lower quality card stock and had brighter and sharper images. They suffered from poor cutting."
