LISE DRIOUT (1922/2017) is a Painter and Glass Painter born in 1922 in Courbevoie from an ancient Malouin lineage. Having grown up in a family of musicians, rhythm did not fail to influence his work, particularly in the 1960s.

 In Brittany and more particularly in Saint-Malo where she found her roots, Lise Driout produced the majority of her work. From Havre de Rothéneuf to the ramparts of Saint-Malo and from Sillon beach to the port basins, the painter transcribes through a vibrant touch all the complexity of this "alternately calm and tormented" country.

Lise Driout will be a member of the Salon des Indépendants, a Member of the Salon des Artistes Français, a Member of the Salon des Femmes Peintres.
 She received numerous awards, including the Prix du Gémail in 1957, 3rd prize at the Cherbourg Painting Biennale of 1960, 2nd prize at the Pont-Aven Painting Salon of 1960, and the Grand-Prix of the Salon des "3S" of Fontainebleau from 1960,
She will exhibit at the “Tonalités” Gallery in Paris, at the Galerie Montparnasse in Paris, in Tokyo with Kimura Bokudo, at the Môle bookstore at Monsieur Duquesnoy in Saint-Malo, in Pont-Aven, at the Salon de la Marine, at the Salon des Indépendants, at the Paris Salon d'Automne in 1970, 1971 and 1972, at the Paris Salon of Drawing and Water Painting, at the Paris Salon of French Artists.

Finally, she taught for many years at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris where she trained many current painters…
