This is a rare find - and I know people say that on eBay all the time (because let’s face it, they’re trying to sell you something) but I knew from the moment I held this that it was something special. This is one of those pieces I wish could talk - it’s clearly seen a lot of life and would probably have some incredible stories!

It’s quite large, authentically old, and has some quirky little flaws that give this piece true character and add to its value. Combine that with the incredible patina and four primitive metal repairs along the back - what more could you hope to find in a primitive piece?
