A3 poster print of the classic sectioned / translucent image of a Rover 216GTi 3-door twin-cam with RS body styling kit.

The listing image shows a photograph of the actual printed A3 poster.  The actual print looks much better than this - I take photographs in non-ideal lighting conditions and with a small compact camera so this image looks blurred, fuzzy and dull with the wrong colour balance, etc. The print you will receive WON'T look like this - it looks like a really high quality commercial print.

The original image was scanned at 1200dpi and then worked on to remove any flaws and produce a graphic that would print with the best possible quality.

Background turned to pure white. Borders and text recreated so it's all pin-sharp, to match the main image.  Nothing detracts from this looking like a brand new, pristine photographic enlargement of the original image.  Excellent quality - very strong, vivid colour and a really high apparent resolution.

A3 paper size, so you'll need an A3 frame to frame this.  The image has not been stretched or distorted to achieve the A3 format.

The border is 15mm in from each edge, which will cope with most picture frame rebates and still look excellent in a clip-frame with the whole page showing edge to edge.

Printed on Ilford Galerie 270gsm photo card, the highest quality photo paper available.

Printed in UV-proof 50-year archive quality inks, so this could be displayed in an area that receives direct sunlight and the image will not fade over time.

The item is listed with post and packaging free, but It'll actually cost me about £4 as I send these very loosely rolled in a box/tube and the main image covered in acid-free tissue paper.

Please be careful with the printed surface as it will pick up marks from the oils secreted by your skin if you touch it.  These won't wipe off as would be the case for a normal gloss photograph as the surface of the photo paper has an extra ink-absorbing layer that makes it ink-jet compatible.  Just frame the item as soon as you can, then you've got something that will last for decades without degrading.
