With around 12 prototypes printed until I was happy, my cougar classic specific chassis brace/stiffener is now available.

My original design tested through 2 years of hard racing abuse on multiple surfaces in my own cougar 2!

It tightens the chassis across 5 existing holes, massively cutting the chance of a bent chassis.

Built in is a revival/iconic legal forward shorty Lipo battery position, resulting in more positive steering characteristics.

I’ve designed it around using the excellent captive nuts (not included) available from Schumacher so it will stay drum tight!

The listing is for one printed battery holder, no other parts included so you will need 5 screws (3x M3x8mm countersunk, 2x M3x20mm countersunk, 1x M3x20mm grub screw, 1x M3 locknut and 1x M3x12 cap head) and 5 schumacher captive nuts, part number U7689
