Epididymite is a rare silicate. In this specimen epididymite is seen as elongated white crystals included in the terminated crystal of smoky quartz.

The specimen comes from the collection of Alan Parker. A previous

 label from David Shannon Minerals will accompany the specimen to its

 new owner.
