In among this mass of "Boys toys" I find the occasional family treasure and I have just found a few Breweriana items my dad had a total love of his home bar back in the day we had one shaped like a cabin cruiser it had lights ,portholes he made matching shelves for the wall behind and found items to enhance the look while serving Snowballs ,Cherry B, Babycham and countless more classics.

I have just unpacked a small collection of diecast models which represent where our love of toys meets our home bar a selection of 1:87/HO Promotional Beer Trucks still in their blisters on cards

This is a 1:87 Mercedes Truck & imitation empty beer bottle Trailer Feldschlößchen Diecast nice touch is the miniature imitation empty beer bottle on the trailer produced by Hümmer Werbe a German company that specialises in promotional merchandise and made for Feldschlößchen brewery still sealed in it's blister on card which is showing some light signs of storage a little creasing and rubs please see photos .

In 1644 a lone farmhouse at foot of the Hahneberg hill in the southern suburb had already been licensed to sell beer and wine. It was here, outside the farm in the fields, that about forty years later the ‘Schlösschen’ [mansion or large country house] was built

In May 1838 the Meisl brothers bought the estate and began the construction of a lager brewery in the old Feldschlößchen [‘mansion in the fields’] and in 1858 they founded the ‘Aktienbrauerei zum Feldschlößchen’.since then much has gone on including Carlsberg buying and selling the brand it's woth mentioning the label on the bottle is no longer used for in 2006 the Pichmännel figure was brought back to the brand logo and thus to all bottle labels.
