Antique Great Exhibition Crystal Palace G. Baxter Gems No.2 In Vintage Frame Oil Colour Printing

“The Gems of The Great Exhibition No.2” depicts the Belgian Department at The Great Exhibition and is dated circa 1852. There is one of these in the V&A collection

This original and stamped (impressed mark) G. Baxter colour image has been framed by Boots The Chemist. It is in remarkable condition and the colours have stayed rich and beautiful. The vintage frame, which has been made specially for the print, has some wear to it.

I have taken various shots of it, inside and outside. The glass in the frame is very reflective and is tricky to photograph.

The frame measures approx 36cm x 24cm.
