Vintage WEINMANN 27” x 1¼” Rear Clincher Road Wheel

Up for sale is a nice vintage WEINMANN 27” x 1¼” rear clincher road wheel. WEINMANN single wall alloy rim with welded joint and serrated braking surfaces. (Applying the Sheldon Brown general guideline that the tire width should be between 1.45 and 2.00 the inner rim width would mean these rims are suitable to tires of between 26mm and 36mm in width). SUNSHINE hi-flanged alloy hub has been cleaned and greased with new axle and cones – ready for years of service. Wheel has been professionally trued with nice clean braking surfaces. A few mark from normal use but overall in very good condition, please see pictures. Sale includes Maillard/Spidel quick release, VELOX strip quick, tube, and a nice Bontrager TI 27’ x 1¼” tire.
