Discovered in a large batch of linens in the store room of an antique dealer in Lower Normandy. This one probably dates from the 1920's. The fabric of this sheet is in generally very good condition. I couldn't see any signs of thinning and there were no holes or nicks on the edges. There are a few pin head sized brown marks and a small number of small blue stains which look as if they might be quite stubborn to get out. I would be surprised if all the other marks don't fade or disappear within a few white washes.

The fabric is very noticeably heavier than e.g. a linen shirt. It's quite heavy but not the heaviest I have ever come across. There is a noticeable texture.

The sheet is approximately 2.34 mtrs wide and 3.08 mtrs long (over 7 square meters) and weighs approximately 1.5 Kg.
