You can use it in the way you would use tape or cable tie. You can take bunch of cables and wrap it around all of them or you can first wrap few centimetres of the tapa around single cable, then roll the cable and wrap the rest of the tape around the rest of the cable.

You decide how long you want it to be and cut it at desired length. No waist and no excess. Nice clean look all the time.

They allow you fix one end to your cable so that you will never loose it.
