Antique Ornate Baroque Brass inkwell With Glass Insert READ

Ornate brass urn style inkwell that sits atop a large rectangular base. The inkwell does have a glass insert but I do not know if it is original to the piece. There are no markings on the pice. It measures approximately 6 inches tall and 7 1/2 inches long and weighs nearly 3 lbs. Some patina on the brass.
