The IBM ThinkPad X40 at a mere 2.7 pounds--IBM's smallest laptop ever--it combines true ultralight portability with all the right expansion, connectivity, and battery options for the business traveler. It's much sleeker than IBM's other ultraportable, the ThinkPad X31. The IBM ThinkPad X40 was ultra light, a technical marvel in its time.

Intel Pentium M 1.40 GHz Processor, 1024 MB Ram and 40 GB mini Hard Disk with recently installed Windows XP Pro (EN), Google Chrome, Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 EN and IBM Utilities. (Look at the photos).

Has 2USB port – PCMCIA slot – RJ45 LAN – 2 x 3.5mm audio input jack – RJ11 modem – VGA port – SD Card Reader slot – WiFi – docking connector port. All Codec and Drivers are installed. The main battery charges but does not keep the charging long enough (about 20 minutes), it needs a new battery to operate properly. (Look at the photos).

This is vintage laptop. It is still in good used condition since 2005 and runs with Screen Resolution 1024x768. The laptop has been photographed all around so that you can see exactly what you are purchasing.

As the unit is used there will be some cosmetic marks, cracks and scratches. (Look at the photos). It comes with an IBM charger. The photo is from the actual laptop. Does not it come in original packaging.
