KATO's smallest steam locomotive, the C12. The compact body has been accurately commercialized. Recreates the appearance of steam locomotives around 1970, when they were nearing the end of their life. It is a steam locomotive that can pass the R150 with a small radius and is suitable for operation in small layouts and small spaces.
The C12 is equipped with a coreless motor with a flywheel, which is standard equipment on KATO steam locomotives, and has excellent low-speed running performance. Reproduces the running performance suitable for local lines.
The front wheel and trailing wheel reproduce the realistic appearance without spokes, which is a recent specification. The air action tube has a copper tube expression printed on it. No run board white line.
The headlights are lit on both the front and the front in the direction of travel. No light off switch. The headlights are LP42, equipped with an ATS generator, and the sand sprinkling pipe reproduces the early type with front and rear distribution.
Selectable license plate included. The car number is 42465167. A more realistic replacement knuckle coupler (rear) is included.
Includes one Arnold coupler knuckle coupler for heavy use (for back driving) so that you can easily reproduce back driving, which is an advantage of tank locomotives.
