This is an exceptionally beautiful English majolica Isle of Man on Coil of Rope Figural Teapot made by Holdcroft circa 1880s. The entire teapot is in excellent and vivid condition with only a nicely restored minute glaze wear to the inner rim of the lid and a small restored shallow glaze chip to the underside of the hat. It also has a few small restored chips to the inner rim of the teapot; none significant. Like most antique majolica, it has some crazing. Marked 15 on bottom. Please disregard the lighting glares.
