Two volumes.
Hardcovers. Contemporary brown leather with red title labels on spine (one missing), duodecimos (15 cm. Tall), 320 and 360 pages; 4-page publisher’s catalog at end of volume 1.


Very scarce set. The Morgan Library & Museum catalog entry includes the note: “Bühler, LJB rare.”
The American Antiquarian Society catalog has no entry for the set which is apparently missing from its collection.


CONDITION: Covers have moderate wear at edges and corners, the leather is soiled and rubbed, one spine label is missing. The endpapers are spotted and discolored. The Contents of both volumes are tightly bound, intact and complete. The title pages are lightly spotted and a bit darkened. The text pages are age-tanned and have occasional foxing spots.
