This dog kennel is made of varnished wood and features a roof covered with bitumen that can be opened up – handy for cleaning the inside of the kennel or letting some air in. The plastic caps on the wooden legs protect the material, and help to raise the kennel off the ground to avoid it becoming filled with water and to allow air to circulate underneath. This kennel is suitable for small to large dogs and is quick and easy to assemble.

Sizing: The given breed-specific recommendations are suggestions based on breed standards. The size of your individual dog should determine which size kennel you choose. You should refer to the internal dimensions as the external dimensions include those for the roof overhangs.
Important: The kennel must not be too big for your dog to warm the inside with its own body heat and to stay cosy inside. If the kennel is too big, your dog may get cold very easily.
Please note: This product is treated with a non-toxic water-based wood varnish. The varnish provides a first-defence protection against the elements but this kennel should be regularly treated if it is kept outside. Wood will dry out if it is not treated and can splinter, warp or become unsightly. For this reason, it is important that you clean and treat your pet’s hutch or kennel regularly. Please use wood care products that are non-toxic to animals. Place the kennel in the most sheltered area to protect it from the weather as best possible.
