This is an upgrade on the crystal booster antenna that we used with the FCD Mk4 ghost boxes and has been adapted to compliment the new FCD Ghost Box and FCD Professional models currently on sale.
The booster antenna can be used on other kinds of spirit box and geoport boxes which have a 3.5mm input socket jack.

So, what is this new kind of Ghost Box antenna?
Well the concept isn't that new to be honest and was around at the time that the first ghost boxes were being built. It has just been forgotten about in recent times. But the idea of how these antennas work has been implemented and built upon by the creator of FCD Ghost Boxes, Nigel Mortimer. The antenna body (the black box) holds a core metal rod that runs through many small crystal chips. At one end the larger quartz crystal point (which has been wound in copper) attracts spirit energies by creating a small but significant energised field and this is fed into the crystal chips inside the box to amplify them along with the FM radio signals that are being received by the standard telescopic antenna which runs through the crystals. In doing so, the ghost box /spirit box/geoport, when the booster antenna is plugged in, receives an altered signal surrounding the FM input. This altered signal, it is theorised, carries the spirit energy and acts as a conduit for spirits to affect in a more direct way than purely manipulating the standardised FM signal.

The 'FCD Ghost Boxes Spirit Crystal Booster Antenna' (copyright FCD Ghost Boxes), is an additional antenna system and doesn't replace the FM telescopic antenna that is supplied as standard with FCD Ghost Box models. This antenna, however, will enhance the input if used. Both antenna types can be used with ghost boxes independent of each other and changed over whenever needed.

To Use: FCD Quartz Crystal Antenna Booster , known as the " FCD 5th Element " : A metal rod is placed within loose crystals inside the case and before each session, this is shaken to 'excite' the energetic field around the ghost box antenna. It is believed that spirits are attracted to such fields of energy. Shake the antenna box a few times in the hand and then insert into the 3.5mm jack -where a normal FM antenna would go. Begin your ghost box session. Repeat the shaking of the antenna crystals every ten minutes should sessions last longer.
