A very rare first edition ,first printing of step by Step by Winston S Churchill . Published in the UK in 1939 by Thornton Butterworth  .

There is some light rubs and light soiling to the book boards  , the spine a little more so .

There is a dealers pencil inscription to the front endpaper. There are no other writings or inscriptions to the pages , there are some light marks to the text pages along with some mild toning .

The top page edges are a little dust darkened and along with the side edges are a little toned .

The rear endpapers has some erased pencil marks along with a stamp saying " Times book Club" .This is rarely-seen .
