This has an impressed Spode mark with an impressed 27 plus a blue printed letter A and blue printed Spode.

In recent times this pattern has been reproduced but the back markings of the new plates are very different.

The pattern of this plate originated in 1822 but I am guessing that mine is more likely to be 1927 as the condition is too good for it to be 1827 and Spode used impressed date marks from 1870-1963.

A lovely old plate in excellent condition. Great for both collectors of blue and white and collectors of Spode. Rare for me to find one in such great condition.
