Cover and interior are clean and in good condition. No spine crease. Tight binding. Cover has small corner creases. Outer pages have minor corner curl.

There is intermittent pencil underlining, notations and marginalia the first five chapters, which is up to page 110. None noted after that. The markings are light enough that that is no hindrance to reading the text. The book formerly belonged to a philosophy professor who liked to own his books by making notational marking.
