The symbols on the ring are representing the ancient Greek alphabet. It is called Linear Writing B - a syllabic script that was used for writing Minoan and Mycenaean Greek, the earliest attested form of Greek. The script predates the Greek alphabet by several centuries. It was first found on clay tablets and sealings. The script has originated around the fifteenth or sixteenth century BCE. There is evidence of the use of Linear B on mainland Greece is from ca. 1340 to 1190 BCE.
The script consists of about 87 symbols, which each represent a syllable, as well as some ideograms which represent an entire word or idea.
This unique ring is a perfect gift for those who are passionate about ancient civilization and culture, or for those who love the mysterious objects from the past.
