Original oil painting on canvas from the first part of 20C. Signed by Christian Aigens (1870-1940), listed Danish artist. Signature partly covered by the frame.  Educated at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen 1888-90 and later by among others Kroyer and Tuxen.  Study travel to Switzerland 1900.  Exhibitions since 1908. Frame is in very good condition, some minor signs of age. Please note, that since we are not in the framing business, the frames are sold as is - we see them only as an "addition" to the painting.
