An Antique English Edwardian Cut Glass Table Lamp with a Period glass lampshade.
A lamp dating back to the early 20th Century period.
The lamp is made from Cut crystal. Beautifully made and hand cut, covered in cut and polished decorations.
At the top the lamp is fitted with a period aged brass plated three screw gallery which holds the period moulded glass glass lampshade which has moulded decorations and a pale yellow rim.
The glass and the rim come to life in use and provide an Antique lighting effect.
The base of the lamp is wide and the lamp is very stable.
The base has an original slot on one side for cable entry.

The wiring is modern and earthed and the lamp has a modern earthed chromed switched brass BC bulb holder that takes one BC bulb.
The lamp is fitted with a cable stay inside the bulb holder.
The lamp works perfectly.

Condition is Antique, used and aged...Points to note.....
1. Some small marks from manufacture and use to the shade, scuffs from use, marks in the glass from manufacture.
2. The lamp base is good, free of major damage just a few flea bites from age and one small bruise in the glass that does not spoil. It is not perfect but please bear in mind age and a lifetime of use.
3. Wiring and fittings are modern and earthed.
4. Various surface marks, scuffs and small signs of life and age to the Glass but no damage.
5. A couple of small imperfections in the glass from manufacture.
