My personal input -

This work was somewhat personal to the artist. It is a rendering of what she saw when she went down to her cottage in Laguna Beach. This is where she stayed when attending the local Plein Air events. I contacted the artist at her Scottsdale studio. She invited my wife and I come down. We were able to meet with her and her husband. She gave us a tour of her home and her studio.

I showed her this artwork and she told us the story about it. She said that she had done the piece in the 1970’s.

Sadly, she has since passed away (2020). She was a joy to meet!
