Here for this sale I have a wonderful 18th century walnut wood butter ( or maple sugar ) worker . Very well made from walnut wood all in one piece . Has an oval shaped paddle and carved out handle with a knob end. Likely Native American, New England origin. Just has the best smooth and dry surface and a wonderful primitive look. Measures 3 3/8 inches across the paddle, by 5 inches long at the paddle. The handle is 6 1/2 inches long. Shows wonderful light honest wear, great condition. A super piece for your primitive country kitchen or pantry display.
