A working 1950s Oliver typewriter in its original black carry case.

There are a few paint chips on the typewriter's metal casing. And spots of tarnish/rust. I think this was due to the typewriter being stored for many years. The + key is sticking. Please see photos.

The black carry case is a bit battered inside...please see the close-up photos.

The listing includes a new replacement black and red ink typewriter ribbon as well as the original Oliver instruction manual.

The typewriter's serial number is 5119021.

The original Oliver decal is on the top part of the typewriter case.

The carry case and typewriter together weigh nearly 6kgs (5.78kg).

The lock on the left-hand side of the typewriter keeps the carriage moving around in transit. To unlock the carriage, pull the knob gently outwards and up. The carriage should then move easily. The instruction booklet details this too. Just be aware that this lock will be on when it arrives.

I have quite a few other manual typewriters for sale, so please do take a look at them too.
